We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering and Operations Manager to join our team at Uber Boat by Thames Clippers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of our catering services on board our vessels.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure each Onboard Customer Service Associate (OCSA) has the necessary tools to perform their duties safely and effectively.
- Maintain an audit log of equipment, absence, lateness, holidays, staff performance, uniform, and food/hygiene standards.
- Assist the Catering Manager with performance management and provide a 'world-class' standard of customer service at all times.
- Deputise for managers and fulfill OCSA shifts as required.
- Support a team of OCSAs in serving food and beverages to customers, following prescribed methods of portioning, presentation, and combinations in line with our brand standards.
- Ensure all customers are greeted with a friendly welcome and their requirements for food and drink are explored.
- Oversee the cleaning program and maintain a high standard of cleanliness on all vessels during service.
- Take action to remedy any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock requirements, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during work.
- Previous relevant working experience in a customer/food service or retail environment.
- Commitment and flexibility in your approach to work, with the ability to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritize work.
- Food hygiene certificate – Level 2.
