Materials Support Specialist

Ryanair, Europe's biggest airline, has an exciting opportunity for a Materials Support Specialist to join our ever-growing team in Prestwick. This role offers a chance to be part of a dynamic supply chain operation, supporting ongoing material activities.
Job Summary:
- Assist the Materials department in managing the flow of materials to support line and base maintenance operations
- Control logistics, including imports and exports, to ensure timely delivery of aircraft materials
- Process KPI data to drive improvement and monitor invoice processing
- Manage phone calls and email correspondence with suppliers to maintain strong relationships
- Ensure costs and spend are under control, and provide administrative support to Material Purchasing, Repair, and logistic teams
- Develop and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements:
- Prior office or administrative experience required
- Proactive, positive approach with a can-do attitude essential
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills necessary
- Ability to work independently and manage time and priorities effectively
- Team player with a strong knowledge of Microsoft packages – Outlook, Excel, Word
