Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Forward Assist Recruitment. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for procuring all Aircraft parts, raw materials, and tooling required to support EASA Part 145 Regulated MRO.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure all Aircraft parts, raw materials, and tooling required to support EASA Part 145 Regulated MRO.
  • Liaise directly with suppliers to ensure highest levels of customer service are achieved.
  • Manage, develop, and negotiate existing and new sales agreements with suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance based on client's Approved Suppliers List (ASL) and liaise with Quality Assurance Department to ensure compliance.
  • Determine levels of inventory to meet organisational metrics.
  • Negotiate and administer purchase orders in support of production needs.
  • Work with finance to address any payment issues.
  • Assist in the movement of spares, materials, and tooling to/from locations as necessary.
  • Review levels of inventory to identify obsolete or excess stock and take necessary steps to reduce inventory.
  • Manage current approved suppliers' list.
  • Ensure the Health & Safety Policy is maintained in accordance with the company's Safety Policy.
Requirements
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements in relation to procurement.
  • Experience in setting, developing, and maintaining procurement department procedures.
  • Experience in managing departmental Health & Safety and Compliance.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing sales agreements and ongoing relationships with suppliers.
