Job Summary

The East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our Community Respiratory Service as Clinical Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to patients with respiratory conditions.

About the Role

As Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, expertise, and management of a caseload of respiratory patients. You will work in partnership with primary and secondary care colleagues and other agencies to secure a smooth patient journey across the whole patient pathway. You will also be responsible for line managing members of the Community Respiratory team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise to the Community Respiratory team
  • Manage a caseload of respiratory patients
  • Work in partnership with primary and secondary care colleagues and other agencies
  • Line manage members of the Community Respiratory team
Person Specification

We are looking for an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner who has:

  • Completed a portfolio of supervised practice in advanced clinical practice
  • Evidence of continued professional development following MSc completion
  • Evidence of recent teaching, mentorship, and supervision of staff
  • Evidence of multi-professional working
