SEND Teaching Assistant

Overview:
Leader Education seeks an exceptional Learning Support Assistant to join our staff.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support students with EHCPs on an individual basis
- Maintain student behavior and ensure a safe classroom environment
- Help develop students' social and emotional skills
- Assist with daily living activities when necessary
- Develop and adjust lesson materials to suit students' diverse needs
Work Schedule:
This role requires a standard Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Employment Benefits:
- A salary ranging from £18,000 to £22,000 annually

- Possibility of transitioning to a permanent contract upon completion of a probationary period
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid DBS clearance or commitment to obtaining one
- At least two years' experience working with students with SEND requirements
- Appropriate teaching qualifications and/or relevant work experience
