Industrial Equipment Technician Lead

Luton Bennett is looking for an experienced Industrial Equipment Technician Lead to join their team in Carlisle.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and previous experience working in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Split between planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Work on various equipment, including pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, gears, bearings, pipework, and steam systems.
  • Update maintenance records and hand over to the following shift team.
  • Collaborate with a mixed team of electrical and mechanical engineers.
  • Work on different production lines, including mill machinery, biomass, and treatment plant.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Mechanical Engineer in an industrial setting.
  • Possession of relevant mechanical qualifications is advantageous.
