About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Equipment Technician to join our team at Arnold Clark Group. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing agricultural equipment to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair tractors, ploughs, and other farm equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Carry out thorough inspections to diagnose issues accurately and make necessary repairs.
- Road test vehicles to verify repairs have been completed to a high standard.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is £45,000 per annum, with additional performance bonuses up to £9,000 every three years. You will also receive overtime paid at time and a half, 33 days annual leave, flexible hours, and toolbox cover.
Requirements:
- Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 and relevant work experience in the agricultural industry.
- Ability to work efficiently on your own or as part of a busy team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Full driving licence.
