Job Title: Farm Equipment Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Equipment Technician to join our team at Arnold Clark Group. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing agricultural equipment to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair tractors, ploughs, and other farm equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Carry out thorough inspections to diagnose issues accurately and make necessary repairs.
  • Road test vehicles to verify repairs have been completed to a high standard.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £45,000 per annum, with additional performance bonuses up to £9,000 every three years. You will also receive overtime paid at time and a half, 33 days annual leave, flexible hours, and toolbox cover.

Requirements:

  • Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 and relevant work experience in the agricultural industry.
  • Ability to work efficiently on your own or as part of a busy team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Full driving licence.
