Key Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one and group support to children with PMLD

  • Participating in training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with children or individuals with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with PMLD
  • Relevant training or experience in areas such as Team Teach, Moving and Handling, PECS, or Makaton
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient approach
  • A proactive and committed attitude, with a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team
