HSSE Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled HSSE Advisor to provide proactive support to all levels of our business on matters of Health, Safety, and the Environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for continually ensuring the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and visitors, and for minimizing the impact our Company has on the environment.
The HSSE Advisor will strive to meet our ultimate goal of 'zero harm to people and the environment' through repeatedly meeting, and where possible exceeding, the health, safety, and environmental obligations and standards we set.
This is an office-based role in Great Yarmouth, with travel to UK-based ports and Europe.
Key Responsibilities- Promote, implement, and monitor a HSE culture that prioritizes safety and environmental protection.
- Develop procedures and systems to complement and improve our current practices.
- Implement training and coaching for HSE-related subjects throughout the Company.
- Provide management support to the Head of SHEQ.
- Possession of a NEBOSH certificate qualification.
- Demonstrable previous experience auditing HSSE systems, conducting incident investigations, and working in a complex and diverse organization.
- Ability to write clear and concise reports.
- Previous experience offshore and TechIOSH are preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels across the business.
