Job Title: HSSE Advisor

As a HSSE Advisor at Gardline, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and visitors, as well as minimizing the impact of our operations on the environment.

The primary objective of this position is to promote a culture of health, safety, and environmental responsibility throughout the organization.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing procedures and systems to improve our current practices, providing training and coaching on HSE-related subjects, and supporting the Head of SHEQ in management decisions.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong passion for health, safety, and environmental issues, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HSE procedures and systems
  • Provide training and coaching on HSE-related subjects
  • Support the Head of SHEQ in management decisions
  • Conduct audits and incident investigations

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH certificate qualification
  • Demonstrable previous experience in auditing HSSE systems and conducting incident investigations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a complex and diverse organization

Additional Information:

  • The position is based in Great Yarmouth, with travel to UK-based ports and Europe
