About This Role
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate caregivers to provide essential support to a 3-year-old child with complex medical needs. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the life of this young individual.
Responsibilities
- Assist with enteral feeding via mic-key gastrostomy and medication administration through the gastrostomy tube.
- Provide physiotherapy support and exercises as prescribed.
- Engage in play therapy to promote development and well-being.
- Offer assistance with seizure management, if required.
- Communicate effectively with the child, considering their visual and hearing impairments.
- Provide personal care, including hygiene and dressing.
- Assist with chest management techniques.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in a caregiving role is preferred but not essential. Full training, supervision, and ongoing support will be provided to all successful candidates.
- A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
