Early Childhood Educator

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team in a nursery setting in Horley.
As a nursery teacher, you will be responsible for designing and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities to promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in young children.
You will create a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment where children feel valued and respected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing educational programs that cater to the needs of young children.
- Assessing children's progress, identifying individual needs, and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
- Establishing positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to foster a sense of community and collaboration.
- Collaborating with parents and caregivers to support children's learning and development both at home and in the classroom.
- Maintaining accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and behaviour, and communicating effectively with relevant stakeholders.
- Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in early childhood education.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
