About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Insights Specialist to join our Digital and Analytics team in a role that will enable you to build upon existing data and analytical skills to support the department in meeting its contractual obligations to clients.

You will work alongside departmental stakeholders around the provision and design of internal and external reporting packs and dashboards showing portfolio analysis and data insights, as well as key projects from inception to delivery, utilising high value analytics to provide insight to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with data teams across Marsh to understand availability of data when creating and renewing solutions.
  • Design and produce overview documents to be easily used in internal facility performance reviews.
  • Work with Account Executives to scope, work and deliver ad-hoc requests to internal management and external clients.
  • Produce Data Quality internal summary documents with an aim to improve business engagement.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for day-to-day communications with Account Executives and Key Stakeholders to articulate Portfolio Solutions Data.
  • Recommend improvements and efficiencies to existing processes and procedures based on data analysis findings.
  • Keen on understanding processes, and naturally want to use data to drive performance improvement.
Requirements
  • Advanced Excel Skills.
  • A background in insurance or finance.
  • Experience in Python.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including 27 days annual leave, excellent pension contributions, private medical cover, life assurance, income protection, employee assistance program, plus a range of flexible benefits including the option to buy or sell up to 5 days holiday per year, cycle to work, dental insurance, health assessments and many more.

In addition, we offer generous family leave including 6 months paid maternity leave, 4 months paid paternity leave, 6 months paid adoption leave plus shared parental leave options. To help ease the transition when you return to work, you will be able to work 8 weeks at 80% of your normal work pattern and receive 100% of your normal salary.
