About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at link 3 recruitment, working closely with teachers and students to support learning in the classroom.

As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside subject teachers to provide academic support and guidance to students across various subjects. Your role will involve assisting with lesson activities, offering one-on-one and group support, and helping students achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation of an inclusive, positive, and safe learning environment for students.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and implement effective lesson plans and strategies.
  • Provide individualized support to students who require extra help, promoting their confidence and engagement in the learning process.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with teaching staff regarding student needs and achievements.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience working with secondary school-aged students is desirable but not required.
  • You must possess a flexible, proactive, and compassionate approach to working in an educational setting.
  • A genuine interest in supporting the learning and development of secondary school students is crucial.
