Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SEN/SEND tutor to join our team as an Academic Support Specialist. As a SEND Education Professional, you will work closely with children and young people who require tailored support to overcome their learning challenges.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide one-to-one tuition in Maths, English, or Science to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH), Moderate Learning Difficulty (MLD)/Severe Learning Difficulty (SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

Professional Teaching Qualifications (e.g., QTS, PGCE)

At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in SEN/SEND settings

Proven ability to work with students who have complex needs

A DBS check and professional references

Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances

The estimated salary for this position is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer:
