Job Summary:
Nuffield Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiographer to join our team at York Hospital. As a Senior Radiographer, you will play a key role in providing clinical leadership within our Diagnostic Imaging department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior staff, including work scheduling, rotas, induction, development, and training.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and protocols within the department.
- Participate in radiation protection supervision and ensure compliance with statutory and organisational policies and procedures.
- Monitor radiation safety and take appropriate action when issues arise.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve high-quality patient care and excellent clinical outcomes.
Requirements:
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant area of specialization.
- BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent, meeting the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
