About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at HomeCareDirect. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to live independently and safely in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and support to clients with complex needs, including those with multi-sensory impairments.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Deliver personalized care plans, including daily exercise regimes, meal preparation, and household tasks, to promote clients' independence and well-being.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and medical care.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas such as safeguarding, health and safety, and first aid.
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure required.
  • Understanding of the complexities of multi-sensory impairments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good IT skills and ability to use electronic care records.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and respect for clients' dignity and autonomy.
