Key Responsibilities- Vehicle Maintenance and Repair: Coordinate and oversee the maintenance and repair of our fleet, ensuring all vehicles are properly serviced and meet regulatory standards.
- Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best possible value for our fleet maintenance and repair needs.
- Cost Control: Analyze and manage costs associated with fleet maintenance and repair, identifying opportunities for cost savings and implementing effective solutions.
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and guidance to drivers, operators, and other team members as needed.
- Breakdown Management: Coordinate and manage roadside breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal vehicle recovery.
- Communication and Collaboration: Develop and maintain effective relationships with drivers, operators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Experience: Proven experience in HGV vehicle maintenance and repair, with a strong understanding of fleet management principles and practices.
- Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Education: Relevant qualifications in a field such as transportation, logistics, or a related field.
- Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications, such as a HGV license or a certification in fleet management.
- Competitive Salary: A competitive salary range of £30,000 - £33,990 per annum, based on experience.
