Property Manager Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Property Manager to join our team at Spicerhaart in Ashford. As a Property Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our clients and ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of properties, including booking and conducting property inspections, negotiating tenancy extensions and renewals, and coordinating with contractors for maintenance and repair issues.
  • Process deposit returns, resolve rental arrears, and process eviction requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure properties meet all regulatory health and safety standards and complete all check-in and check-out procedures, including full inventory reports.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to both landlords and tenants, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • A Full UK Driving Licence for a manual vehicle.
  • Previous experience in a Property Manager role or customer-facing and/or administrative roles.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and basic IT skills.
  • Legal entitlement to live and work in the UK and evidence of right to work in the form of passport/birth certificate, proof of address, national insurance, and drivers licence check.

What We Offer

  • A basic salary range of £20,000 to £27,500 per year, dependent on experience.
  • Up to £5,400 in capped commission (in addition to basic salary).
  • A further £2,725 uncapped commission target (in addition to basic salary).
  • Minimum on-target earnings of £28,125+ per year.
  • Company car.
  • Full-time working hours: 08:30-18:00 (weekdays) and 09:00-17:00 (one in every four Saturday's, with a day in lieu).
