Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at an Ofsted-rated good Primary School in Brent. The successful candidate will work closely with a child in Year 2 who requires close support due to SEMH needs and challenging behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the class teacher in managing the child's behavior and developing a rapport with them.
  • Support the child's learning and development in a 1:1 setting and small groups.
  • Contribute to classroom preparation and organization.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children in a nursery or school setting.
  • Desirable: experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and challenging behaviors.
  • Ability to work effectively 1:1 and in small groups.
