We are seeking a dynamic and target-driven Business Development Officer to join our team. Your primary role will be to connect apprenticeship programmes with interested candidates by identifying and generating vacancies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Secure and generate apprenticeship vacancies by matching employers with suitable pre-apprenticeship candidates.
  • Effectively communicate the value of our clients programme to employers, ensuring they understand how the pre-apprenticeship service helps prepare candidates for future apprenticeships.
  • Travel to visit employers and apprenticeship advisors in the West Midlands area to develop business relationships and maintain ongoing engagement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, particularly within the employability, apprenticeship, or recruitment sectors.
  • Experience in generating apprenticeship or employability vacancies with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Flexibility to travel within the West Midlands to meet with employers and apprenticeship advisors as needed.
  • A deep understanding of the apprenticeship landscape and pre-apprenticeship programs is a plus.
