About the Role

Vision for Education - Cornwall is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Unqualified Teaching Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to support children in SEND schools and develop your skills in education.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the school. You will work closely with teachers to support the day-to-day needs of children, and help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

We are looking for someone who is committed to improving outcomes for all children, and is willing to complete the required training and participate in ongoing CPD. If you have a passion for supporting and helping children, and are dedicated to making a difference in education, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support teachers in the classroom to deliver high-quality education to children
  • Assist with the day-to-day needs of children, including administrative tasks and maintaining a safe and organized learning environment
  • Develop relationships with children, staff, and families to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • 3 GCSE's Grade C or above in Mathematics, English, and Science
  • Passion for supporting and helping children
  • Commitment to improving outcomes for all children
  • Willingness to complete required training and participate in ongoing CPD
