Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to develop and implement effective health, safety and environmental strategies. This role offers a competitive salary range of £45,000-£50,000 per annum and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and improve health, safety and environmental standards, processes and procedures
  2. Coach supervisors and managers on best practice across health, safety and environmental management
  3. Develop and implement an effective EHS strategy aligned with ISO14001 and ISO45000 standards
  4. Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  5. Manage site procedures and standards for risk assessments, SSOW, control and monitoring hazards, substances, work equipment, PPE and manual handling
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations, including NEBOSH and IOSH certifications
  • Experience working with Environmental Management Systems and ISO14001 auditing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
