We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Control Panel Builder to join our team at Novelus Ltd. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret electrical schematics and drawings.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Panel Assembly and Wiring: Build, wire, and install electrical control panels according to engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and layout specifications.
  2. Troubleshooting and Testing: Conduct functional testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on panels and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
  3. Component Installation: Select and install appropriate components, including relays, circuit breakers, and power supplies, based on project requirements.
  4. Quality Control: Perform quality checks and inspections on panels, ensuring that all work complies with industry and safety standards.
  5. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of wiring layouts, modifications, and testing results.
  6. Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to meet project deadlines and specifications.
  7. Safety Compliance: Follow all company and regulatory safety procedures and protocols, including PPE requirements.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in control panel building, electrical assembly, or a similar role.
  2. Technical Skills:
  • Electrical Schematics Interpretation: Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
  • Wiring and Component Installation: Hands-on experience with wiring, component installation, and use of hand and power tools.
  • Electrical Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of electrical safety codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, UL).
  • Testing Equipment Familiarity: Familiarity with electrical testing equipment, such as multimeter and continuity testers.

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
