Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Shift Team Leader to join our team at Gregory Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and oversee picking operations to ensure compliance with company standards and targets.
  • Accurately receive, pick, and dispatch pallets to meet customer demands.
  • Maintain accurate stock control and inventory management in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Lead and motivate warehouse operatives to achieve optimal pick rates and meet company targets.
  • Identify and resolve system or facility issues that impact pick rates and productivity.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and one-to-one meetings with direct reports to ensure company standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is essential.
  • Hold a current LLOP, VNA, counterbalance license.
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with warehouse management systems (Manhattan Scale).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to engage and motivate the team.
  • Ability to identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
