We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join our Risk Advisory team, providing high-quality services to our clients. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for delivering multiple assignments of high complexity and variety, working closely with and supporting more senior members of the team in the strategic development of the stream.


Key Responsibilities



  • Deliver multiple assignments of high complexity and variety
  • Work closely with and support more senior members of the team in the strategic development of the stream
  • Provide high-quality services to clients
  • Work independently and be accountable for the delivery of projects
  • Monitor progress against budget and time-frames, review work of more junior members of staff and resolve issues prior to Partner review
  • Provide support to and drive departmental issues, including coaching and feedback to more junior members of staff, ensuring compliance with the stream's policies and procedures and the firm's risk management procedures

Requirements


We are looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Manager with a strong understanding of risk management and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have:



  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, MIIA or CCAB or equivalent
  • SOX experience or UK internal controls frameworks
  • Awareness of compliance, legislative and market issues relevant to client businesses
  • Ability to prioritise and plan effectively, adopting a logical and methodical approach in order to meet tight deadlines and balance client needs
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Powerpoint

Desirable



  • Previous experience in a manager role within practice
  • Experience of risk management, internal audit and systems/controls testing
  • Strong working knowledge of UK reporting standards (including UK GAAP)
