About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Assistant Manager to join our team at KPMG Consulting. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for advising clients on market risk management and providing qualitative analysis to support business models and potential solutions.

This role involves working closely with senior stakeholders at investment banks, as well as other functions such as Risk and Product Control, to analyze the implications of regulatory change within market risk and wider risk and capital related engagements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing advice on market risk frameworks and processes, including risk management, risk control, and product control.
  • Supporting the delivery of market risk engagements and analyzing the implications of regulatory change.
  • Defining and articulating business requirements, and communicating complex technical terms/impacts to a senior non-technical audience.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • Market risk knowledge and Front Office experience.
  • Good understanding of market risk frameworks and processes.
  • Proven ability to support the delivery of market risk engagements.
  • Ability to clearly define and articulate business requirements.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical terms/impacts to a senior non-technical audience.

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure is based on industry standards and takes into account the complexity of the role, the required qualifications and experience, and the location.
