Staff Nurse Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Mental Health and Learning Disabilities team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our service users, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Main Responsibilities- Act as named nurse/key worker for an identified group of service users, ensuring the assessment, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
- Co-produce collaborative care plans for service users and undertake service users' activities as appropriate, ensuring a high standard of care.
- Liaise with the wider multidisciplinary team to enhance the standard of care service users receive.
- Undertake risk assessments and work within the framework of the Care Programme Approach, acting as a key worker as required.
- Participate in staff inductions and act as a preceptor to develop the skills and knowledge of newly qualified nursing staff as appropriate.
- Registered Nurse Qualification (LD/MH)
- Experience of working within a mental health setting
- Experience of working within a Multi-Disciplinary Team
- Experience of working within the framework of Care Planning Approach
- Previous experience of working on an acute mental health ward
