Job Title: Mental Health Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a Mental Health Specialist, you will work closely with GPs to provide high-quality mental health care support to patients in the Tameside area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide mental health care advice to GPs for patients not currently open to secondary care mental health services.
- Work with other Consultants to support the development of the service and attend local and divisional service development meetings.
- Contribute to the teaching of medical and nursing staff and 4th medical students.
Requirements: Applicants must be on the GMC's Specialist Register or eligible for inclusion or be within six months' of the anticipated award of a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Adult Psychiatry at the time of interview for the post.
