Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and co-produce care plans in consultation with service users and their families and carers.
- Undertake comprehensive risk assessments and formulate risk management plans with service users, their families and carers.
- Assist the Unit Manager in developing a service that meets the needs of patients with regard to their age, spiritual, cultural, ethnic and sexual orientation.
- Provide management and clinical supervision to members of staff.
- Liaise effectively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and statutory and non-statutory organisations involved with client care.

Requirements- Registered Mental Health Nurse Qualification.
- Experience of working within mental health settings, including experience of admission and discharge processes.
- Experience of working within multi-disciplinary teams and framework of care planning approaches.
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983 and Code of Practice, legislation relating to discharge and aftercare, and care planning and management.
