Job Summary:

Harrington Starr is seeking a highly skilled Contract Support Specialist to join our team in a 6-month rolling contract with the option to convert to a full-time staff member. As a key member of our front office support team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our traders and resolving complex issues related to trading platforms and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support to front office traders, ensuring minimal disruption to trading activities.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to resolve technical issues related to Bloomberg, Reuters, and other trading platforms.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Microsoft desktop applications and provide expert support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and systems, including Cisco and Citrix software and applications.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a trade floor support role, with a strong background in technical support.
  • Proven track record of resolving complex technical issues related to trading platforms and systems.
  • Excellent Microsoft support skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of Cisco and Citrix software and applications, with the ability to provide expert support.
