We are seeking an Accredited Senior Clinical Coder to join our Clinical Coding Department, where you will be responsible for analysing and abstracting complex patient clinical records, applying clinical coding rules and conventions, and inputting coded data onto the Patient Administration System (PAS).
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the Clinical Coding process, including NHSE clinical coding standards, and strong analytical and judgemental skills. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with non-clinical staff, clinicians, nurses, midwives, and managers.
As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of local policy and guidance agreements related to clinical coding issues within the divisions. You will also participate in regular training to ensure that your coding/leadership skills are continually being broadened and updated.
We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including flexible working hours and opportunities for professional development.
