The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the management system, identifying and implementing initiatives to improve it, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining quality, safety, and environmental systems, implementing, auditing, and updating associated documentation.
  • Monitoring, auditing, and reporting on QSHE performance and providing feedback and assurance to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Developing, maintaining, and improving the business integrated Management system to underpin QSHE and operating standards.
  • Maintaining a risk register, reviewing QSHE risks, and escalating where appropriate.
  • Supporting the training and development of all staff to ensure awareness and understanding of QSHE standards.

The ideal candidate will have previous QSHE Managerial experience, a recognised safety and environmental qualification, and experience in ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001. They will also be comfortable with reporting to the C.E.O and Directors quarterly and have good personal organisational skills.

The company prides itself on its accreditations and requires the successful candidate to uphold these by maintaining records and being accountable. The role will also require travel to other locations in the South West.

The successful QSHE Manager will be a good listener, have good problem-solving skills, and be a great communicator who is a team player.
