Ecosafe Group, a leading provider of repairs and maintenance services to Social Housing and Supported living partners across the south, is seeking an experienced Construction Health and Safety Manager to join their team in Dorset.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Health and Safety across the construction group, educating and supporting team members in H&S matters, and implementing safety actions.

  • Manage Health and Safety across the construction group
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures

This role requires the applicant to have a good working knowledge of the building industry, including H&S processes and work content. Strong knowledge of environmental and health and safety regulatory frameworks is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site audits and risk assessments
  • Develop and deliver training programs for team members
  • Investigate incidents and near misses
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

We offer a competitive salary of £45,000-£60,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, as well as opportunities for continued professional development and career growth.

Requirements:
  • Degree in a related field (e.g. Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management)
  • NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction qualification (or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
