Engineering Manager Role

First Achieve Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to lead our engineering department and drive the development of innovative solutions. In this key role, you'll oversee all technical activities, manage complex projects, and nurture top engineering talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the Engineering Department: Oversee all technical activities, ensuring projects meet customer requirements with practical solutions.
  2. Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with management, production, and sales to align project specifications and procedures with customer needs.
  3. Project Management: Coordinate projects, direct technical activities, and assess feasibility based on technology, resources, and market demand.
  4. Recruit and Develop Talent: Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering growth and continuous development within the department.
  5. Quality Commitment: Ensure the ongoing development and implementation of our quality management system, adhering to customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Degree/Higher Apprenticeship in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent experience.
  2. 5+ years in mechanical engineering, preferably with leadership or mentoring experience.
  3. Strong background in mechanical engineering design and analysis for industrial rotating machinery.
  4. Expertise in SolidWorks and familiarity with analysis techniques.
  5. Solid understanding of engineering codes, standards, and industry best practices.
  6. Strong skills in interpreting engineering drawings, standards, and specifications.
  7. Proficiency in SolidWorks, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
