About the Role

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is seeking a Maternity Support Worker to join our team in the Maternity inpatient Services at Tunbridge Wells Hospital. As a Maternity Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting midwives in the safe delivery of maternity care and providing new parents with the skills and support required to care for their babies.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist midwives in the Antenatal, Postnatal, and Delivery Suite Units
  • Provide support to new parents in caring for their babies
  • Work in a team environment to deliver high-quality care to patients

Requirements

  • Commitment to undertaking and successfully completing the Level 2 Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
