About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Randstad. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable company in the food production industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the team in dismantling and replacing machine parts.
  • Uphold health and safety regulations in a fast-moving automated environment.
  • Conduct all mandatory logs.
  • Handle mechanical repairs on conveyor systems and ensure the efficiency of the production line.

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience working within a FMCG environment, preferably in food production.
  • Completed an onsite apprenticeship or hold a level 3 NVQ in Engineering or similar.
  • Confident working with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, motors, rollers, gearboxes, fabrication repairs, and fitting new parts.
  • Competent fault finding and repairing on a range of equipment.
  • Ambitious, enthusiastic, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
