Job Title: Safety Manager

Experis UK is seeking a highly skilled Safety Manager to join our team in the Engineering department. As a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive Safety Management Plan (SMP) that ensures the safety of all employees, contractors, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the implementation of the SMP throughout the organization.
  • Establish and maintain a just safety culture by promoting a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
  • Develop and review safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of the business.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in the engineering or defence industry.
  • Formal training or qualifications in safety management or a related field.
  • Experience with Goal Structuring Notation (GSN) and the creation of Safety Cases.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
