About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Health and Safety professional to join our HSEQ team as a Health and Safety Advisor. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving a change in safety culture and helping us lead an organisation on its continuous improvement journey.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Support the business in strengthening its health and safety culture, providing guidance and expertise to project teams regarding H&S issues.
  • Provide advice on specialist areas such as CDM regulations, risk assessments for engineering design projects, and offer H&S input to bids and tenders.
  • Plan, carry out, and report on internal H&S audits on office facilities and projects, identifying, evaluating, and controlling safety, health, environmental, CDM, and operational risks.
  • Review and maintain H&S procedures and guidance, investigating incidents and near misses, establishing root causes, and implementing corrective/preventive measures.
  • Assist with external audits, keeping up-to-date with legislation and other requirements, maintaining an up-to-date legal register, and evaluating suppliers from a H&S perspective.
  • Collate and produce KPI reporting for HSEQ systems, providing guidance and expertise to the business regarding ISO45001.
