Role Overview
We Manage Jobs (WMJobs) is seeking a motivated Housing Options Officer to join our team at Warwick District Council. As a key member of our housing department, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable individuals and families in finding suitable accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assess the needs of clients and provide tailored support to help them find suitable housing options.
- To work closely with colleagues across the council to ensure effective service delivery and collaborative working practices.
- To maintain accurate records and reports as required.
- To contribute to the development and implementation of new initiatives and strategies to improve housing services.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Degree-level qualification in a relevant field (e.g., social work, housing management, or a related subject).
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a local authority or related sector.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Salary and Benefits:
This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary range of £33,366 - £36,124 per annum.
Working Hours:
The role involves 37 hours of work per week, with flexible arrangements for home working and office-based work.
