About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at Consortium Professional Recruitment Ltd. As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in the building and construction sector by generating innovative designs and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and create new designs using design software, primarily AutoCAD
  • Modify existing designs to meet client requirements
  • Customise designs and draw new variants of existing designs
  • Liaise with internal support functions to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Provide outstanding service to clients against agreed timescales
  • Produce specifications or technical information as required by clients
  • Liaise with clients on projects via email and phone correspondence
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a Design role
  • Experience of using AutoCAD
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience of liaising with internal stakeholders and customers
  • Keen to learn and develop
  • Good team player
  • Good time management
  • Strong Numeracy and literacy
