Job Summary

Gi Group Professionals is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and equipment for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment from concept to start-up and operation
  • Perform various engineering calculations and analyses related to process design and equipment sizing and selection
  • Provide engineering support to customers, sales, R&D, and aftermarket teams
  • Review design and perform code calculation requirements for pressure vessels
  • Assist with project management and coordination as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 3-6+ years of related experience (Level II)
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently and a second language (European or Asian languages) preferred
  • Ability to travel on an as-needed basis, domestically or internationally, up to 15% of the time
