Job Opportunity: Leading Mechanical Engineer

OSL Consulting Engineers, a reputable engineering company, is seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality technical services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

* Provide technical services for mechanical engineering elements of project scopes, ensuring compliance with design basis, FEED, and EPCm scope preparation and execution.
* Act as a technical expert and final technical approval authority for mechanical engineering.
* Lead a small team of mechanical engineers and designers, developing design scope and ensuring deliverables meet company requirements.
* Coordinate mechanical engineering interfaces between project phases.
* Establish professional relationships with clients and partner companies, resolving technical queries and scope interpretation.
* Ensure assigned work is completed within agreed budgets and schedules.

Requirements:

* BSc/MSc or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* Chartered Mechanical Engineer Status (preferred).
* Extensive experience in mechanical engineering design, particularly in high-hazard industries.
* Proven experience as a Lead Mechanical Engineer on various projects, with expertise in package engineering.
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience in supervising discipline designers and administrative functions.
* Familiarity with international design codes and standards, including ASME, API, and European EN codes.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills, with experience in quality control and assurance.
