About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SEN/SEMH teaching assistant to join our vibrant school community in Luton, Bedfordshire. This exciting opportunity involves working closely with students who require additional support due to their special educational needs. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping these students overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include assisting the classroom teacher in creating a personalized learning plan, providing one-to-one support, and leading group sessions to foster social skills and friendships. You will also contribute to staff meetings, sharing your expertise and ideas to enhance the overall student experience.

Requirements:
  • A proven track record of working with students with SEN.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient and empathetic approach, with a willingness to adapt to individual student needs.

Salary Information:
This fulfilling role offers a competitive salary range of £23,000 - £25,600 per year, based on a 39-week contract. This equates to approximately £460 - £500 per week.
