Financial Management Specialist

Our client, a leading UK market leader with over 60 brands, is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their high-performing team in Tamworth. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to take ownership of your own ledger and contribute to the company's growth through investment in training and new systems.
Your New Role- Manage two diverse ledgers, taking ownership of end-to-end ledger management.
- Proactively resolve queries before due dates and ensure prompt payment from customers.
- Daily bank reconciliation and cash allocation, keeping track of unallocated payments.
- Maintain customer records, run credit checks, and review accounts.
- Set up new accounts and conduct credit vetting.
- Improve processes and collaborate with internal departments for efficient query resolution.
- Meet monthly and yearly deadlines.
Suitable Candidate
- Previous experience in AR/Credit department.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Effective negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and other relevant systems.
- AAT/CICM qualification is desired but not essential.
