About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Diabetes Specialist Nurse to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our diabetes team, you will play a vital role in providing expert nursing care to patients with diabetes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work as an autonomous practitioner, coordinating and delivering an expert nursing service within diabetes.
  • Be involved in the development of evidence-based clinical nursing practice, aligned with current research and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues at Princess Royal University Hospital, Intermediate Diabetes Nursing Teams in the Community, Nursing, and other HCPs at Denmark Hill, KCH.

  • Significant experience working as a Diabetes Specialist Nurse.
  • NMC Level 1 or Level 15 Registered Nurse.
  • Postgraduate qualification or further studies/course in Diabetes.
