Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Global Distribution Director to lead our distribution network and drive revenue growth through our distributor sales channel. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and managing global distribution networks, with a strong understanding of the oil and gas market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and optimize our current distribution network
  • Manage and update distribution agreements with KPIs
  • Develop and manage the internal sales and customer service teams
  • Ensure all service levels are met
  • Manage performance and coach the team
  • Pricing and Margin policies
  • Support and train/coach distributors
  • Global Key Account Management
  • Assisting with big ticket Business Development projects
  • Market intel and Product Development
  • Attend global exhibitions
  • Develop the CRM system
  • Involvement in Marketing and PR
  • Process improvement and business metrics
  • Influence and improve all operational processes

Requirements:

  • Inspirational Leader/ track record of developing teams both internal and external
  • Extensive global distribution leadership
  • Ideally sold to the oil and gas market
  • Mechanical Engineering Products experience and/or a solid technical and industrial background
  • Outstanding commercial track record
  • Able to collaborate, make decisions and accurately forecast
  • Extremely Driven and persuasive
  • Competent with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Effective communicator, comfortable with dealing with customers and colleagues
