CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines with Fanuc controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programming and setting CNC turning machines with Fanuc controls
  • Operating CNC milling machines with HyperMILL software
  • Assessing engineering drawings to determine the most efficient machining strategy
  • Collaborating with the Machine shop supervisor to agree on lead times and quality targets
  • Maintaining machine maintenance schedules and ensuring quality targets are met

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in programming and operating CNC turning machines with Fanuc controls
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Off-line programming experience with HyperMILL software is an advantage
  • Backed up by qualifications in CNC programming and machining
