CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our team at We Are Workforce Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines with Fanuc controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program and set CNC turning machines with Fanuc controls
  • Operate HyperMILL CNC milling machines (desirable but not essential)
  • Assess engineering drawings to establish a strategy for creating a machined part
  • Implement the strategy with consideration to machine efficiency, tooling, and resource utilization
  • Assess and agree lead times with the Machine shop supervisor
  • Ensure quality targets are met and liaise with Quality Engineer on tolerance limits and measurement
  • Maintain machine maintenance schedules

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in Prog/Set/operation of CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls
  • Off-line programming experience with HyperMILL is an advantage but not essential
