CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our team at We Are Workforce Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines with Fanuc controls, as well as setting and operating HyperMILL CNC milling machines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program and set CNC turning machines with Fanuc controls
  • Operate HyperMILL CNC milling machines
  • Assess engineering drawings to determine the most efficient strategy for creating a machined part
  • Implement the strategy, considering machine availability, tooling, and resource utilization
  • Assess and agree lead times with the Machine shop supervisor
  • Ensure quality targets are met, collaborating with the Quality Engineer to establish tolerance limits and measurement protocols
  • Maintain machine maintenance schedules
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in programming, setting, and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls
  • Off-line programming experience with HyperMILL is an advantage
  • Immediate starts are available
